ANNOUNCEMENTS

College Rep Visits

Community Service Opportunities

The city of Friend will need help with a variety of things this Spring: weeding at the binzebo, fixing the baseball field, and park clean up day. If you would like to help with any or all of these events, contact Kristen Milton and she will put you on the list. Dates and times will be shared later.

Students are needed to help supervise the bounce houses at the Friend 4th of July celebration this year. If you can help, contact Kristen Milton.

Students who are interested in earning community service hours by pulling weeds and putting down mulch at the Country Club later this month should contact Kristen Milton ASAP. Mulch will be done on May 1st right after school. Contact Kristen to help.

JH Quiz Bowl

JH QUIZ Bowl practice will be Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7:40-8:00 a.m. in Mrs. Anderson's room. Thanks!

Driver's Education

The Driver's Education Class is certified through the State of Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles. To take this class you will need to be 14 before October 14. The student will need to pass both the driving and the online course. The class will consist of 30-36 hours of online instruction, 5 hours of supervised practice driving, and a 10-15 minute driving test. Payment will be needed before you receive your pass code for the online class. Once you have completed the practice driving part of the course, we will meet in Exeter to take the driving test.
